All three suspects in an assault near the Canadian Tire Centre following an Ottawa Senators game earlier in October have been identified, the Ottawa Police Service said Friday.

A 25-year-old man, who was not identified, has been charged with aggravated assault, police said in an Oct. 30 news release, adding that the accused was scheduled to appear in court in January 2027.

A week ago, police issued a request for public assistance in identifying the three men believed to have been involved in the assault, which left another person unconscious in a ditch near the arena.

Officers responding to a call at about 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 found the victim in the area of Palladium and Huntmar drives. The game between the Senators and the Florida Panthers had ended just before 10 p.m.

Investigators said the victim did not know the assailants.
