The city wouldn’t comment on specific cases, citing privacy reasons. But housing and homelessness services director Kale Brown said the city’s “unsheltered taskforce” is brought in whenever there is a report of an encampment. The task force includes members of the city’s public works and social services departments, as well as police, bylaw, and the National Capital Commission.
