To celebrate the NFL’s return, Pepsi has tapped Megan Thee Stallion for a Gladiator II-inspired ad featuring a remix of an iconic song.

Ahead of the NFL 2024-25 season kickoff, Pepsi released a new ad celebrating football’s return and the upcoming film Gladiator II.

The Houston Hip-Hop star takes center stage in the commercial as the emperor that also stars NFL superstars — Travis Kelce, Josh Allen, Justin Jefferson, and Derrick Henry, who enter the coliseum as gladiators and compete for the ultimate prize, an ice-cold can of Pepsi.

We would battle for Megan Thee Stallion’s hand in marriage. Just saying.

Anyway, the Ridley Scott Associates, Paramount Brand Studio produced the ad, directed by Jake Johnson in association with Paramount Pictures, invites fans to “Make Your Gameday Epic” with a Megan Thee Stallion remix of Queen’s iconic song, now the ultimate jock jam, “We Will Rock You.”

Per a press release, the “Hiss” crafter version of the song turns Queen’s track into the ultimate gameday anthem. As a bonus treat for the Hotties who want to add the song to their playlists, it’s available on DSPs.

The entire commercial will run during the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens season opener.

The spot comes after Thee Stallion finished up her sold-out Hot Girl Summer tour and recently a Billboard Magazine cover feature where she touched on several topics, including supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, lack of support from Black men, and beefing with Nicki Minaj.

The summer is ending, but we are in store for a Hot Girl Fall because Megan Thee Stallon is still out here stepping on necks.
