On Oct. 19, the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) brought together some of fashion’s top artists, influencers and business leaders to celebrate the 2024 winners and honourees at its 11th annual awards gala in Toronto. Toronto drag performer and TV personality Brooke Lynn Hytes hosted the event at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, where honourees included Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista; Ben Barry, dean of fashion at New York City’s Parsons School of Design; Révolutionnaire and the Rév Shop co-founders Justice and Nia Faith; and iconic lifestyle brand Roots. This year also marked the launch of the Indigenous Fashion Award, recognizing the talent and storytelling of Indigenous designers and artisans.
