2 charged in Toronto drug and firearm investigation

Two males, including a 17-year-old, have been charged in a drug trafficking and firearm investigation.

Toronto police allege the man and youth were involved in trafficking illicit drugs throughout the city.

A search warrant was executed on Dec. 17 at a resident in which a loaded semiautomatic handgun, 1,670 grams of cocaine, 133 grams of psilocybin, 40 grams of crack cocaine and 12 grams of fentanyl were alleged seized.

Cash, a taser, three cell phones, packaging and digital scales were also located and seized by authorities.

Michael-Ryan Bond, 37, and a 17-year-old youth who cannot be named, both from Toronto, are facing several charges including three counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

They were both scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
