Man in 60s killed in Vaughan crash

York Regional Police say a man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Vaughan.

Authorities say it happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Highway 27 between Rutherford Road and Major Mackenzie Drive.

The crash involved two vehicles. One driver, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver, an adult male, suffered minor injuries in the collision.

The Major Collision Bureau is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Closures impacted Highway 27 for several hours, but roads have since reopened in the area.
