Vandals accused of spray-painting anti-Semitic messages

Investigators from the York Regional Police hate crime prevention unit are on the hunt for two suspects who are wanted in connection with an alleged anti-Semitic incident that happened in Markham.

According to police, the two suspects broke into a commercial property near Yonge Street and Doncaster Avenue at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Friday.

Officers say the suspects vandalized the property, leaving behind significant damage and spray-painted anti-Semitic messages on the walls.

No suspect descriptions were provided. However, police have released surveillance images of the suspects in action.

Footage shows one individual wearing a black face covering and holding what appears to be a spray paint canister.

No other details were released.

Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact police.
