Toronto’s premiere movie festival is partnering with Rogers for a three-year partnership agreement that will run through 2027.
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced on Monday that the telecommunications giant will return as the official Presenting Partner of the Festival and the People’s Choice Award. The 50th edition of TIFF will take place from Sept. 4 to Sept. 14 of 2025.
“The expanded partnership builds on the success of TIFF ’24, which welcomed a record-breaking 700,000 attendees and hundreds of the world’s biggest filmmakers and stars,” a TIFF press release states.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Rogers through 2027, building on the terrific momentum we’ve created together,” TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey said in the release.
Prior to last year’s festival, TIFF’s leading sponsor was Bell Media. That partnership ended in the summer of 2023, after nearly three decades, when the communications giant opted not to renew the contract.
