OTTAWA – Nova Scotia MP Jaime Battiste is dropping out of the Liberal leadership race and throwing his support behind former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney.
Battiste’s campaign issued a statement confirming he is endorsing Carney’s bid late Thursday.
