An outage affecting Canada Border Services Agency kiosks and “digital tools” has been resolved.
The agency posted the update on X an hour after warning that travellers could experience delays at the border.
The outage affected primary inspection kiosks in Terminals 1 and 3 at Pearson, but the kiosks are now back in service, the airport said on X close to 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
The border agency told the Star it could not comment about what caused the outage.
In August, a partial systems outage affecting airports was resolved after about three hours.
Travellers were processed manually during the outage and additional resources were made available to minimize wait times, the agency said at the time.
