A man has died after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 401 at Highway 410 in Mississauga that may have been caused by a medical event.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to the westbound collector lanes around 5:30 p.m. for a collision involving at least three vehicles.
A 52-year-old from Acton was taken to a local hospital in life-threatening condition where he later died of his injuries.
OPP are investigating whether the man experienced a medical event prior to the collision
Peel Paramedics say his condition may have been caused by a medical event and not a collision. No other injuries were reported.
The westbound collector lanes were closed at Highway 410 but have since reopened.
