Mark Carney raised $4.5 million in two-month Liberal leadership race

OTTAWA – Mark Carney’s leadership campaign said he’s fundraised a whopping $4.5 million during the Liberal party’s short, two-month race to replace outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

All the visible signs point to a significant lead for the former governor of the Bank of Canada, with a large swath of the Liberal cabinet and caucus backing him as he leads in polls and fundraising.
