On Feb. 4, Amazon MGM Studios celebrated the first anniversary of its long-term lease at Pinewood Studios Toronto with a vendor and community appreciation event. The event showcased the economic impact of its productions in Canada and highlighted local businesses. Attendees included Magda Grace, head of Prime Video Canada, Australia and New Zealand; Julie Dabrusin, member of Parliament for Toronto-Danforth; Paula Fletcher, city councillor for Toronto-Danforth and chair of the Film, Television and Digital Media Advisory Board; and Marguerite Pigott, Toronto film commissioner.
