The stars came out on Sunday, Sept. 8, for the sixth annual TIFF Tribute Awards at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The event, which raised money for TIFF’s Every Story initiative — to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging — featured such A-list guests as Cate Blanchett, Angelina Jolie, Zoe Saldana, Selena Gomez, David Cronenberg, Amy Adams, Denis Villeneuve, Lupita Nyong’o, Sandra Oh and Salma Hayek.
