The launch was projected on the NAC’s Kipnes Lantern in the first live broadcast on the transparent LED screens that light up the building’s front façade, facing Elgin Street in downtown Ottawa. The five-storey glass tower was built as the centrepiece of an architectural project updating the brutalist building for Canada 150 celebrations in 2017.
