A traffic officer waxed poetic Saturday after a 24-year-old driver was caught blasting along Highway 174 at 73 km/h over the legal limit.
“Beautiful weekend mornings hold so much promise,” police noted on X social media.
“Unless, of course, you’re travelling at 73 kmh over the posted speed limit (of) 80km/h.”
The vehicle was impounded and the speeder faces stunt-driving charges, license suspension, and an upcoming court date.
