Canada, India agree to name new high commissioners after G7 meeting

KANANASKIS – Prime Minister Mark Carney and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi agreed today to designate new high commissioners and restore regular diplomatic services to citizens in both countries. 

The announcement came after the two leaders met on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Alberta this afternoon, which Carney invited Modi to attend.
