In June, 30 Canadian celebrities competed with donors at Scrabble with the Stars, an annual fundraiser supporting the Canadian Artists Network and Performing Arts Lodges Toronto. These organizations assist artists, particularly seniors, with housing, advocacy and community support. The event was founded in 2005 by Vivienne Muhling, a longtime performing arts publicist and PAL Toronto resident.
