The Canadian Museum of History announced it is closed for the day on Tuesday due to a water supply interruption.
The interruption was caused by work underway by the City of Gatineau, the museum said in a statement.
Services including the Panorama Café, Second Cup, CINÉ, the gift shop and the Canadian Children’s Museum will also be closed, the museum said.
The Canadian War Museum, located on the Ontario side of the Ottawa River, will remain open.
The museum said it is “monitoring the situation closely” and will provide updates on its
website
and social media channels.
This is the second time in the last month that water issues have forced the closure of the Canadian Museum of History, after a water main break
resulted in a three-day closure for the museum
in September.
