Carney declares turning point in Canada-China relationship after meeting with Xi

GYEONGJU – Prime Minister Mark Carney says his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is a “turning point” in Canada-China relations, calling it long overdue.

Xi invited Carney to visit China as the pair met on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea today.
