On Sept. 12, Toronto’s Park Hyatt was the site of the second annual Women Empowerment Awards, celebrating the achievements of 10 diverse women across Canada. Supermodel Coco Rocha, Juno-winning singer Keshia Chanté, Miss Universe Canada 2024 Ashley Callingbull and ministers Charmaine Williams and Rechie Valdez were on hand to pay tribute to women in business, leadership and community service who have shattered barriers and empowered others. Voices Rock Medicine, a choir of women physicians, performed.
