A collision between two school buses was reported Wednesday afternoon after first responders say they received a call before 3:20 p.m.
The incident occurred outside of Knoxdale Public School in Nepean during dismissal, at Greenbank Road and Craig Henry Drive.
Paramedics say they assessed and released four people, but no one was taken to the hospital.
“It was a fairly minor collision,” the Ottawa Paramedic Services said. Three students were left with minor injuries, according to the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority.
Stacey Kay, OSTA’s general manager, said school staff called emergency personnel and OSTA staff arrived on the scene as well.
“OSTA is working with the school bus operator to investigate further,” Kay said.
“Student safety is always our top priority.”
