Ottawa OPP were at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 417 near Bayshore Drive on Jan. 2 when, after one of the involved vehicles had left and the other had been placed on the back of a tow truck when a third vehicle sped by on the left shoulder of the road, past two police cruisers, and smashed into the rear of the tow truck.
