Ottawa Fire Services rescued two people trapped in a car early Friday after a rollover in the 4000 block of Rideau Valley Drive.
Firefighters discovered the car on its side in a field about 10 metres from the roadway.
Two people were trapped in the vehicle.
Firefighters stabilized the vehicle, then used specialized tools to remove the windshield and part of the roof of the vehicle.
Ottawa Paramedics Service said the female driver of the vehicle suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The male passenger was not seriously injured.
