The 28-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a late-night single-vehicle collision in Perth Road Village.
At about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, the Frontenac OPP detachment received reports about the crash, which led to the closure of Wilmer Road in Perth Road Village.
The vehicle’s sole occupant, a Perth Road resident, was taken to hospital with “life-altering and potentially life-threatening injuries”, police said in a news release Sunday.
Wilmer Road was closed for several hours following the collision.

Perth Road Village is located about 145 km southwest of Ottawa.
