A 71-year-old man from Ottawa and a 55-year-old man from Renfrew both died when the vehicles they were driving collided on Highway 17 in the Township of McNab/Braeside on Saturday afternoon.
The Ontario Provincial Police said its Renfrew detachment was investigating the collision between a pickup truck and another passenger vehicle that occurred at about 1 p.m. on Highway 17 between Anderson Road and McCallum Drive.
The highway remained closed for several hours after the collision to allow for the police investigation.

The Township of McNab-Braeside is about 70 kilometres west of Ottawa.
