MONTREAL – AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. reported its third-quarter profit and revenue rose from a year ago.
The engineering services company says it earned a profit attributable to shareholders of $146.7 million or 88 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended Sept. 30. The result compared with a profit of $103.7 million or 59 cents per diluted share in the same quarter last year.
Revenue totalled $2.81 billion, up from $2.45 billion a year ago.
On an adjusted basis, AtkinsRéalis says its profit from professional services and project management amounted to $1.06 per diluted share, up from an adjusted profit of 63 cents per share in the same quarter last year.
In its outlook, AtkinsRéalis says it now expects its engineering services regions group to show organic revenue growth for 2025 in the low-single digit percentage range compared with earlier expectations for a mid-single digit percentage gain.
The company also raised its nuclear revenue outlook for the year to between $2.2 billion and $2.3 billion, up from an earlier range of between $2.0 billion and $2.1 billion.
