The question with regard to next year’s $14.4-million special education shortfall is where will the money come from, Plamondon told the committee on Wednesday. The challenge in producing a budget for next year is to “put forward a credible, complete, honest budget that incorporates how we actually spend our money — and whether we get to a balanced budget in one year, or it takes more than one year to get there.”
