An unidentified woman was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after her bicycle was struck by a vehicle in the Stittsville community on Tuesday.
An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said emergency responders were called to the scene on Sweetnam Drive, south of Hazeldean Road and east of the Amberwood Village Golf and Country Club, just before 5 p.m.
No other injuries were reported, the spokesperson said.
The Ottawa Police Service posted online that Sweetnam was closed from Hazeldean to Harry Douglas Drive because of the collision.
