Fête Chinoise kicked off its second decade on Feb. 7, celebrating the Lunar New Year at the Ritz-Carlton. The event featured cultural displays, culinary stations, and performances by Jackie Li, Tyler Shaw, Alex Porat, Ginalina, Ryan Huang, the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Collective. Among the 600 guests were artists, celebrities (including actor Dominic Lam and pro racer Samantha Tan), business leaders and politicians. The evening supported the Scarborough Health Network’s Birchmount Tower, the Chinese Canadian Museum and the Fête Chinoise Cultural Foundation.
