Ottawa firefighters made quick work of a townhouse fire in Stittsville on Sunday.
Ottawa Fire Services received several 911 calls just after noon reporting flames in the windows and roof of a townhouse in the 100 block of Lanceleaf Way.
Arriving crews confirmed that a
fire had extended into the side of the structure.
A working fire was declared and, as more personnel were en route, firefighters began searching for possible victims. No occupants were found inside.
The fire was declared under control at 12:26 p.m.
A fire services investigator was dispatched to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
