Florida defeats Toronto 5-4 in OT for their first win in playoff series

Brad Marchand scored in overtime to give the Florida Panthers a 5-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Friday night to get back into their second-round playoff series.

Tomas Nosek, Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe had the other goals for the Panthers, who now trail the best-of-seven series 2-1.

John Tavares with two goals, Matthew Knies and Morgan Rielly scored for the Maple Leafs.

The Panthers will look to even the series in Game 4 on Sunday night in Florida.
