The Gatineau police have asked for help from the public as they continue to search for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for almost a month.
Aurélie Harrison was last seen at about 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 as she was leaving 155 chemin Freeman in the Hull area.
In a news release Wednesday, police described Harrison as white and 5-4 with long, curly brown hair and blue eyes. It’s believed she has a piercing near her left eye and on her lower lip.
It’s thought she could be using public transit operated by Société de transport de l’Outaouais, and that she could be in the Aylmer area or possibly in the area of Rideau Street in Ottawa.
Her family and police have reason to fear for her health and safety, police said in the release.
Anyone with information concerning Harrison’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Gatineau police at 819-246-0222.
