Police in Gatineau have requested public assistance in locating a 31-year-old man who was last seen on Nov. 12.
A news release issued one day later said Yan Olivier Emond-Villeneuve had last been seen leaving a residence on Curé-André-Presseault Street in the Gatineau sector.
The release described Emond-Villeneuve as a White man standing approximately five feet nine inches (1.75 metres) tall and weighing approximately 152 pounds (69 kilograms). He was also said to have shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes, and he wore grey glasses.
When last seen on Wednesday, he was wearing a fluorescent yellow work jacket with reflectors and a yellow hood, a black or green jacket over the work jacket, black pants and black shoes, and he was believed to be riding a dark-coloured mountain bike.
Anyone believing they have seen Emond-Villeneuve was asked to contact the Gatineau Police Service at 819-246-0222.
