Mercedes driver George Russell took the checkered flag Sunday at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.

It’s the first win of the season for Russell, who started on pole position, and the fourth of his career.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished second while Russell’s Mercedes rookie teammate Kimi Antonelli came in third to earn his first-ever podium.

Championship leader Oscar Piastri was fourth following a collision with McLaren teammate Lando Norris during the late stages of the race. Norris attempted to squeeze by Piastri and ran out of real estate, ending his day early.

More to come.
