MONTREAL – Groupe Dynamite Inc. reported its fourth-quarter profit more than doubled compared with a year earlier as its revenue rose 45 per cent.
The retailer behind the Garage and Dynamite banners says it earned $79.4 million or 69 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended Jan. 31, up from a profit of $31.0 million or 28 cents per diluted share a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, Group Dynamite says it earned 71 cents per share in its latest quarter, up from an adjusted profit of 33 cents per share in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Revenue for the quarter totalled $394.2 million, up from $271.8 million in the same quarter last year.
Comparable store sales growth for the quarter was 30.4 per cent.
In its outlook for 2026, the company says it expects comparable store sales growth between 11.0 and 14.0 per cent, while total revenue growth is forecast between 22.0 and 25.0 per cent.
