The last long weekend until Christmas is just around the corner, so here’s a quick look at what’s open (and what’s closed) on Thanksgiving Day, this Monday, Oct., 13.

OC Transpo
- Buses and O-Train lines 1, 2 and 4 will run on a Sunday schedule on Monday.
- O-Train Line 1 will run from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- O-Train Lines 2 and 4 will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Rural Shopper Route 103 will not run Monday.
- OC Transpo’s customer service centre will be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Para Transpo regular booking and recurring trips are automatically cancelled for Monday. Users can book a trip by calling 613-560-5000 or using My Para Transpo.

Green bin, recycling and garbage collection
- No curbside green bin, recycling or garbage collection on Monday. Pick up moves to Tuesday, and collection will be delayed by one day all week.
- Multi-residential garbage containers will be collected on the regularly scheduled day.
- The Trail Waste Facility Landfill will be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Government service centres
- Ottawa’s 3-1-1 Contact Centre will be open on Monday for urgent matters only.
- All Service Ontario Client Service centres will be closed Monday.
- Provincial Offences Court at 100 Constellation Dr. closed Monday.
- The Business Licensing Centre at 735 Industrial Ave. will be closed.
- The City of Ottawa spay and neuter clinic at 26 Concourse Gate will be closed.
Shopping malls
- Rideau Centre will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The mall closes at 6 p.m. on Monday.
- Tanger Outlets will be open Friday through Monday.
- Bayshore Shopping Centre, Billings Bridge Shopping Centre, Carlingwood Shopping. Centre, St. Laurent Centre and Place d’Orléans will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but the malls will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday.
- Stores in the ByWard Market and the Glebe are permitted to open on Thanksgiving Monday.
Grocery stores
- Farm Boy at Rideau Centre will be open on Thanksgiving Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Metro Glebe on Bank Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Monday.
- Metro on Rideau Street will be open Monday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Loblaws on Isabella Street and Loblaws on Rideau will be open on Thanksgiving Monday.
- Whole Foods at Lansdowne will be open on Monday.
Museums
- Canadian Museum of Nature will be open Friday through Monday
- Canada Agriculture and Food Museum will be open Friday through Monday
- Canada Science and Technology Museum will be open Friday through Monday
- Canada Aviation and Space Museum will be open Friday through Monday
- Canadian War Museum will be open Friday through Monday
- Canadian Museum of History will be open Friday through Monday
- National Gallery will be open Friday through Monday
