Hospital employee charged in Vaughan sexual assault: police

A Toronto man employed at a hospital in Vaughan has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a co-worker, police said.

On Dec. 27, 2024, the victim reported a sexual assault to the authorities, claiming he was working at the hospital on Dec. 21, 2024, when the accused touched him in a sexual manner.

York Regional Police officers charged 50-year-old Popoy Caplis Rodillas of Toronto with one count of sexual assault.

Investigators believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward, and they are being urged to contact police as soon as possible.
