TORONTO – Hudbay Minerals Inc. says it has resumed operations at its Constancia mine in Peru.
The company shut down operations at the mine on Sept. 22 due to local protests and what it described as illegal blockades.
Hudbay says it has restarted operations at Constancia and the mill is now at full production levels.
During the shutdown, it says it performed preventive maintenance at the mill and on mining equipment.
The company says it continues to expect to meet its 2025 production and cost guidance ranges.
Hudbay has operations in Canada, Peru and the United States.
