Injuries reported in crash involving TTC buses in midtown Toronto

Multiple injuries have been reported following a crash involving a vehicle and two TTC buses in midtown Toronto.

Toronto Paramedic Services were called to the Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West area just before 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

EMS says three people were sent to a hospital, including a man in his 20s with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two others suffered minor injuries.

Toronto police tell 680News Radio the man is believed to have run a red light before colliding with two TTC buses in the area.

No passengers were injured in the collision and were loaded onto replacement buses.

The intersection is closed for cleanup, and the investigation is ongoing.
