The Trudeau-Perry plot has thickened.
Fans spotted former prime minister Justin Trudeau enjoying fittingly prime seats to Katy Perry’s Montreal concert in multiple photos and videos posted to social media Wednesday night.
Trudeau, seen nodding and smiling along to the Bell Centre performance, appeared to be enjoying the show.
The sighting comes two days after Trudeau and the “Teenage Dream” superstar visited a fine dining restaurant together in Montreal’s Plateau neighbourhood, followed by drinks at a trendy Parc Avenue bar, general management for both spots previously confirmed to the Star.
Trudeau resigned as Canada’s head of government in March after nine years in power. He separated from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, with whom he shares three children, in the summer of 2023.
Perry recently split from actor Orlando Bloom after a seven-year relationship, and the two share a four-year-old daughter.
Perry, who is currently on her “Lifetimes Tour,” is slated to make her way to two shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena next Tuesday and Wednesday.
