The Ottawa Police Service has released a photo of a suspect it said was involved in a jewelry store robbery in Kanata on May 9.
A news release on Tuesday said the theft occurred at about 1:30 p.m. that day in the 8500 block of Campeau Drive. The man entered the store, broke a glass display case and stole several items before fleeing the scene on foot.
He was described in the release as a man approximately 40 years of age with a medium build and standing approximately five feet eight inches tall. He wore dark grey or black pants, a black hoodie, a red baseball cap with a white T on the front and Nike sneakers with a black swoosh.
