The Jamaican DJ, singer and producer Yaadcore will be backed by Toronto’s own Dub Chronicles reggae band at this tiny upstairs venue. With special guest Toronto soul and R&B artist Shi Wisdom.
It’ll be metalcore madness when the Summer of Loud tour rolls up to the amphitheatre by the lake, bringing with it such noisemakers as Parkway Drive, Beartooth, I Prevail, Killswitch Engage, the Amityville Affliction, the Devil Wears Prada, Alpha Wolf and Kingdom of Giants.
As part of Mega City Madness, their six-show tour through their hometown, acclaimed Toronto punks PUP play Lee’s Palace on Tuesday. They’ll also hit the Concert Hall on the 17th, Danforth Music Hall on the 18th and History on the 19th. Montreal punks Solids open Tuesday’s show.
Famed for his work in Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, musician and activist Morello is a thrilling artist in his own right. He’ll bring his guitar pyrotechnics — and, we imagine, his political opinions — to the Danforth for two nights.
