One man was in custody after a shooting incident early Friday in
Gatineau
.
Police were called at about 6 a.m. following a report about a man who allegedly fired a shot at a residence on Lambert Street near Fournier Boulevard in the city’s Hull district.
A suspect was quickly located and arrested.
No injuries were reported.
Gatineau police set up a large search perimeter to investigate the incident.
Fournier Boulevard, a major thoroughfare in the region, was closed in both directions while police investigated.
