A man has been rushed to hospital after a single vehicle crash along Lake Shore Boulevard near Colborne Lodge Drive.
Toronto police were called to the area just before 9 p.m. for reports a vehicle had crashed into a light post.
The vehicle caught on fire and the driver had to be extricated.
He has since been rushed to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition.
Delays are expected in the area.
