A 26-year-old man drowned in Silver Lake Provincial Park on Saturday.
The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency responders responded to the scene at about 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 after a caller reported that a swimmer had jumped out of a canoe and had gone missing.
The man was found later, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation was ongoing, an OPP media release said. Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact the OPP toll-free at 1-888-310-1122.
Silver Lake Provincial Park is west of Perth and about 110 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.
