Ottawa Police say one man has been arrested and charged with two break-and-enters in Centretown.
Police responded to a break-in at a business in the 0-100 block of Arlington Avenue early Sunday morning, April 13, as well as another break-in at a
business nearby in the 400 block of Gladstone Avenue.
Police said an Ottawa man in his 30s was charged, and additional charges may be laid. They did not release his name but said he’d appear in court on Monday morning.
The charges come after two Centretown businesses called for more community resources to address crime and social disorder
after the series of break-ins over the weekend.
