Toronto police are investigating a Scarborough shooting that sent one man to a hospital early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the area of Birchmount Road and Comstock Road at approximately 5:40 a.m. for reports that a person had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim in his 20s with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say an investigation is ongoing. Road closures are in effect on Comstock Road from Birchmount Road to Sinnott Road.
No other details were released.
