Emergency crews responded to a residential fire in Toronto’s Riverdale neighbourhood late Friday afternoon.
Authorities say the fire broke out near Logan Avenue and Danforth Avenue at approximately 5:15 p.m.
One man in his 60s was pulled from the fire and transported to a hospital in critical condition for treatment, according to paramedics.
Toronto Fire Services says the blaze was knocked down shortly after they arrived at the scene.
No other details were released.
