A man was rushed to the trauma unit at the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital after he was stabbed at Place d’Orleans shopping centre early in the evening of April 17.
Ottawa paramedics were dispatched to the shopping centre at about 5:05 p.m. An injured adult man was transported to hospital in serious condition.
No one else was reported injured.
As of 7 p.m. on April 17, the shopping centre had been secured, said Ottawa Police. Place d’Orleans has been re-opened to the public, although some areas remain cordoned off while the investigation continues.
